about Olympia Master Builders

Building strong communities, one home at a time.

Olympia Master Builders (OMB) primary mission is to provide affordable housing for all economic segments of society. This is achieved by improving the construction industry and the business climate in which our members operate. OMB does this through:

ADVOCACY: Providing a voice before government.
EDUCATION: Developing a professional building industry.
PROMOTION: Marketing member services.

OMB members also provide jobs for thousands of families and their projects have a profound economic impact on the community.  According to statistics provided by the National Association of Home Builders using local data from 2025, the estimated one-year local impacts of building 816 single-family and 863 multifamily homes in Thurston County include:

  • $544.51 million in local income
  • $169.08 million in local business owners’ income
  • $375.43 million in local wages and salaries
  • $61.75 million in taxes and other revenue for local governments
  • 5,757 local jobs
  • Net Fiscal Impact: $47.55 million surplus for local governments after costs and interest

Any company providing products and services for the construction of a home is invited to apply for membership. OMB promotes member companies to the public through community events such as Tour of Homes, the BIG Home & Remodel Show, the printed Everything for the Home Hire-A-Pro Guide, Remodel Now Magazine, and on OMB’s online searchable list of members.

OMB is a professional trade association committed to “building strong communities, one home at a time.” OMB represents companies located in Thurston, Lewis, Grays Harbor, Mason and Pacific Counties.
