A soaring 17-foot ceiling fills the home with light and openness while making room for a guest and storage loft above a full kitchen, bathroom, and living space. Full-length vertical cedar siding gives the exterior a distinctly modern PNW character. Inside, a custom oak staircase incorporates subtle storage, while a handcrafted hardwood loft railing replaces a traditional wall, preserving sightlines and the sense of volume. Small in scale, but unmistakably Mallard-made in its details.
